I’ve got a gift for you 🎁

In fact... I’ve got 3!

I don't do this often, but every once in a while it's worth stepping out of the usual weekly rhythm to say a very simple thank you for reading.

There are a lot of emails/newsletters you could give this time to, and it means a great deal that this is one of them.

So this week, less an essay and more a gift

I’d like to give you access to the three dashboards that I use to run every agency I've ever owned or advised on.

We spent a lot of last week on the difference between financial data and operational data - that a P&L is a receipt, and the only instruments that can see forward are operational.

These three dashboards are essentially what I mean by that when the metaphor gets set aside.

They're the views I built for my own agencies to get to $750k/mo profit, and they're the same ones every founder I've coached past $3M, $5M and $10M is now running.

The Executive Dashboard is the one you open first every week: live revenue, margin, retention, utilisation, MRR and capacity on a single view. Its whole job is to stop you operating your business based on the number in your business bank account, and to surface any and all margin leaks ahead of time.

The Capacity Calculator answers how much revenue can we hold with the team we already have? You plug in your team, and it gives you your ceiling. Most agencies find they're leaving over a million dollars a year on the table in capacity they already own and didn't know was there.

The DLER Dashboard takes it a layer deeper - direct labour efficiency ratio per pod, so you can see which teams are maxed, which are under-optimised, and where the next hour of work should go. It's the sharpest instrument for illuminating stress from capacity.

These three resources are for you if:

  • You don't know which clients are profitable

  • You hire blind because capacity is invisible

  • Your team feels "busy" but margin keeps shrinking

  • You can't see real-time MRR, EBITDA, or forecasted growth

  • Headcount is scaling, profit isn't

After installing these:

  • Margin leaks surface before they hit the P&L

  • You hire on data

  • Every client, role, and team ties to a profit number

  • You stop being the bottleneck

  • Performance becomes measurable

I've also included a 17-minute Loom walkthrough with the templates, so you can see exactly how they're wired together before you copy them into your own workspace.

These aren’t gated behind a paywall or form, you’ll get access to them immediately through the Notion page.

Thanks again for reading each week 🤝

P.S.

You can access the 17-minute Loom walkthrough directly here, or through the resource itself.
